Hello, I'm new to this. Would anyone be able to give me pointers on how to save money on food while on the road? Don't really want to keep ordering fast food or truck stop food due to recent health issues. Thanks in advance for any input.
Have a good cooler or refrig in your truck, when you find a store like wally world that allows you to park load up with vegetables and fruits with some nuts, whole grain bread and peanut butter and some canned food. A 12 volt crockpot is a good investment and you can cook up a great meal in a few hours. Go whole foods, no HFCS, and park in the back of the lots so you have to walk a bit to get to them buildings everyday.
Many of us prepare all of our foods on the road, no fast food or truck stop food at all. Do you have a fridge? Inverter?
Pardon me but he is an owner operator..... he should know this by now. I could see if he was a newbie driver period. Something is up here, can you smell whats cooking? There’s a search button/ box on the left hand corner...... lots of 411 in it.
actually it is called common sense, you have to know how to treat you body or pay the doctor bill. Some of us have to use food as our medicine and if done properly your doctor bills get much less.
Maybe he has large truck payment. Big trailer payment. Also, 3 ex-wifes he needs to save where he can!
Get a real fridge and cook before going out or on the road. Coleman will not keep meat safe in summer time.
