    So I am on my way back to salt Lake City from Idaho falls and I accidentally passed the Port of entry right outside of Brigham help what should I do should I turn around and go back through it the other way or should I what do I do

    Probably a chopper out looking for you as we speak. Government issue. Creepy quiet.

    I suspect you are the not the first driver to blow by the Port of Entry, whether accidentally or purposefully.

    If they wanted you, they'd have gotten you.

    That said...I've heard of drivers getting pulled over and having to go back and do it right. Lol hopefully that doesn't happen to you.

    Well you certainly did the right thing by pulling over and getting out your computer and connecting with TTR to ask for advice ! ! Hope you pulled off the highway far enough.

    I run that port everytime I'am there .. but I sure don't get on here and tell everybody I did
    My advice is... It sounds like you feel guilty for breaking the law
    Trun around go back and pass through the Port .. then stop and walk in and tell them you came back through because you missed it the 1st time .. then give them a dozen roses and a box of jelly.donuts.. that should square things up with them

    In MOST cases if you accidentally drive past a weigh station or port of entry, nothing will happen to you. You can choose to exit, go back, and enter the POE like nothing happened. Or you can keep driving and PROBABLY nothing will happen. Don't make it a habit.

    I would've kept going if they wanted you they would've had the troopers chase you down. I've seen port runners pulled over all the time coming through Helper Utah on hwy 6 always a swift or cr England truck. Wife had a scanner at her job always 2 or 3 a day blowing by the port they don't have pre pass so I'm assuming that's why most of them just blow by it.
