Not by a whole lot I made good money last week not to hijack this thread, but I was like a pin ball slingshot let me tell you. I went to work Monday ran my route. Went to work Tuesday did 1,019 cases then left that night for our division warehouse in Pittsburgh. It would be the LTL equivalent of the big hub break bulk terminals you guys go to. Got into Pittsburgh about 10:00ish went got to bed at 11:00pmish got up at 1:45am went to work did a 300 mile route got back to the warehouse in the late afternoon went to bed at 6:00pm! Woke up at 1:00am got to work 2:00am we left for St.Mary's PA. Got back in the early afternoon and got word the bottom fell out at our home yard. Got in my car sling shotted back to Cleveland Thursday. Got up 2:00am Friday morning and ran my Friday route at home in Cleveland.I was beat like a dead horse yesterday I couldn't make it past 10:00pm last night I was so tired.

Next week I'm back at the warehouse may very well be leaving the Cleveland yard at 1:00am Monday morning to cover a warehouse volume run. Right now I've been doing both broad line and Distribution Center Chain Alliance Support.

I was $1382 last week. It's been that for a few weeks now. Summer's busier but we only have one driver on vacation in August so the workload is easier. Less cases and less hours equals less money. Lol

If you're on a sideloader (which ALL new drivers will be) you hand truck it in to C stores, drug stores dollar stores etc. some places make you stage it under the camera so you can scan it all in. After that you have to scoop it all up (literally hundreds of cases sometimes ) and then take it to the soda area and then stock the shelves. Oh, don't forget to remove the trash. They'll send an email in a second about that.

Do that 18-25 times per day.

Bulk is easier. Power Jack the product off and get scanned in by the receiver. But you gotta wait for docks everywhere and drive the bulk truck in some tiny spots.

I couldn't imagine doing 10 super walmarts in a day. I was a merchandiser when I first started and one super Walmart can take 3-4 hours. They take 8-15 pallets per delivery.

i will NEVER do any sort of beverage delivery again unless the pay is at least $2500 per week gross.

My hat is off to you if you do. But i think you're killing yourselves.

Sorry for the late response Everyone, actually since July 13th ive been on light duty because I screwed up my shoulder, but I will post pay stubs as soon as I can. The most I've ever grosses so far is like $1,325.

Usually how it works, we get a base pay of $440 a week then we get commission off every case we deliver. I believe it's like .23cents a case

I've had days where I have 13 stops 500 cases and then 20 stops 830 cases (keep in mind were a union shop and I'm the low guy on the totem pole so I'm still actually considered a relief driver).

And as far as deliveries go we deliver to ever dollor store(tree, general, family dollor) 7-11, hospitals, college's etc.

Are trucks were built to order meaning stop A would be in bay door 6 etc. People In are warehouse actually quit and walked out a Month ago so we were forced to go back to the old way trucks were loaded where we have to dick for everything. I actually was never trained to do that.(I got hurt the day they went back to that).

We do a little bit of everything minus the big supermarkets, I'll deliver in a side bay to Kmart and Lowe's, like I said in a previous post I even deliver to hospitals which aren't fun. I'm actually in the process of either go to Sysco or us foods

It really isn't that hard. Once you get your system down it's actually pretty easy. Very rarely do I even work 8 hours anymore (still get paid for 8

I will admit, the first 6 months to a year is pretty overwhelming but after that it's pretty simple
