Yeah it sucks. I have to pay in $117 for 2018. Good thing I bought another truck now though so I can get all those deductions I lost as a company driver.

117.00 isn't bad... But I kinda look at it this way. I'd rather pay a small sum, (I paid 16.00) than give TOO much through out the year, giving the Govt am interest free load. At least I know my money is mine. But I don't have any real deductions or anything like that. So for me it isn't that bad.

Now Social Security is the one I'm getting concerned about for my retirement future... :sad11:

I had to shell out $300 compared to getting back $400 last year so really a $700 difference. The billions of dollars that Walmart is getting for their taxcut has to come from somewhere so why not my paycheck.

I got $2,400 back with the standard deduction and property tax wrote off and mortgage interest deduction.

I got my per diem since the company paid per diem.

It's either or. If your property tax/interest arent greater than your standard deduction, they dont apply I believe.

Well in 2017 we got back $3,200. This year we OWED $7,000...that was awesome news to get...
