Got a bad ankle, was wondering how much time is spent on your feet when working the dock....

If you get on with them you better stick to linehaul if you have a bad leg.

I talked to a guy who worked there when it was CCX. He said you work yer arse off on their dock.

####, I was hoping it was mostly forklift work. I just took a bone and fat job, rolling barrels at the slaughterhouse isn't too bad but walking through the stores to pickup the expired stuff is taking a toll on me. Plus I can't imagine the smell gets better in the summer and the XPO barn is only a few miles away from me.

Some of our pickups are at Walmart. The route I've done last couple days is like 6-8 grocery stores, a couple butchers/processors, and a few small slaughterhouses. We also do drop/hook at bigger places but I've not done those yet. Really like the job but for the walking...
