Ok. Here's my question?? I'm really new at this but my bf has over 10yrs under his belt. I really HATE It!! He loves it!! He wants us to build a future in this together. My question is how do I overcome the hate for this job??? It's actually causing arguments because I'm irritated a lot. I've told him how I feel but nothing seems to work.

imho, if you arent tied to the house with young'uns get your cdl & team. bank all you can & retire early. other options would be to tolerate it the best you can or hit the bricks. not tryin to be a jerk, just honest.
good luck with whatever you decide.
ps...only you know whats best for you.

We live together in the truck doing this and out for 2-3 months before going home. We have been living together for almost a year.

He needs to get a local driving job or,

You will suck it up and live your life in a truck, or

    You will leave him.

Options for both of you are pretty straightforward.

I love him and really want to try. Just want to get past this feeling of hate for this. I don't mind living in the truck at all. Just want to learn to like the driver part.

How long have you been driving?I say give it some time maybe a couple months and quit being negative about it.If after2 months there's no change in how you feel then you need to find a non driving job.

Perhaps try to identify some of the things causing you to be irritated. Maybe some can be changed. Like satellite radio instead of local, better mattress so you sleep, cooking your fave foods in the truck, picking up a portable hobby. I've been teaming with my hubby for a long time. Life is different on the road, but certainly not bad.
