    I am just getting started on the o/o side of the house. I am leasing to a company, They said that I can run under their authority. What do I need to get for me truck to be legal?????? Any help would be great. Thanks

    Depends what they're offering in the lease deal. Can be tags and insurance or nothing... in which case you'll need both. They have to provide IFTA I believe so you should be in the clear there.

    So, $0 to $4k depending on a lot of factors and how many states etc.

    Why noy ask the company you are leasing to?

    The company that you're leasing on with will probably take care of all that for you... They may or may not pay for your plates. Some companies do and some don't.
    Other than that they, will charge you for the Insurance (Liability, Bobtail , Nontrucking Liability when not under a Load.) , and Highway Use Tax.
    That's about it , to get it legal, other than State/Federal Inspection.
