Also put in applications for your state highway and local town highway department. Good pay and benefits at both.
I applied on the 7th or 8th so thatd be about what the next week or so? I applied for helper and also driver
I remember you posting a few months back, asking questions about every bottom of the barrel, crap company around. I, and many others, tried hard to direct you away from them. I'm curious last to where you ended up and how long you stayed there. OTR is tough at first, regardless of where you begin. There is much to learn and to adapt to and the plain truth is, it's not for everyone. As far as food service goes, they're all screaming for drivers but their hiring process can drag out for quite some time.
I decided on big m transportation and stayed for a month but issues at home with family and medical problems forced me to leave and i cant go back otr and leave her
Richard Sisson (Wood chips) Philadelphia, MS, Cramer Pierce (Dump truck) Philadelphia MS, construction company (Dump trucks) at exit 96 on I20 across from Loves. Don’t know the name.
I wasn't sure what to make of your post. You went otr, didn't like it, then Pepsi, and safety issues. Now Chinatown comes here and provides a viable option, and it's another excuse that it is double the milage or whatever. I am wondering, at 21 years old, if you are having bad luck, or making excuses for not wanting to work. I dunno. See if any companies are hiring for yard jockeys in your area. That is what I do and I make great money. Make more doing this, then I did otr, local, or for reinhart.
also try equipment rental companies. they need drivers to deliver rental items on step decks with ramps.
