It's funny how so many try to find a nice excuse for this idiot.

    Here's a little follow up:

The next morning I went back to the same truckstop after I unloaded and wound up parked right next to the idiot that had finally parked in a parking space.

There was nothing wrong with the guy other than stupidity, He wasn't sick...He just parked there.

To answer your question...In the "good old days" as soon as it was determined that he wasn't sick or some other valid excuse for being parked that way, He'd have probably been issued an "on site attitude adjustment" by one of the hands that he had blocked in.

But these days we all just look for some reason to justify the unjustifiable and make excuses for the feeble minded among us and in doing so we help our society continue on it's course towards the lowest common denominator.

People that do stupid stuff like that need to be called on their actions and held responsible!

I'm not making excuses, since the first thought that comes to mind is that the guy is just a moron and needs to be beaten about the head and shoulders with a stick. Just thinking that if my truck was ever parked like that, what on Earth could have led up to it?

We can't do that BW...we must understand the personal problems, give counsel and sage advice, then send the offended to "time out corner" to contemplate the errors committed.:biggrin_2556:

You need to work on your "people skills"!:biggrin_25524:

Am I going to have to call REDD, OBGYN, and OSHB to schedule an "intervention" for you?:biggrin_2559:

Call it what you want but nothing in your previous posts showed anyone had determined he wasn't sick or something else. Actually, nothing in latest post does either. If he just decided to park like that in the middle of the day when there was room in the lot then he's a bigger idiot than most.

In the "good old days" we didn't have the same ratio of idiots to non-idiots that we have now. I know this is difficult for some of you, but sometimes we have to face the fact that there are a lot of people driving trucks now that really oughta be spending their days asking, "Would you like fries with that today, sir?"

Yep, a lot of idiots which makes it easy to write everything off as just another idiot move. I've seen some pretty stupid moves but for someone to park like that when there's lots of room in the lot is unusual even today. Maybe I'm naive but I figure there has to be more to the story than it just being an idiots idea of a good place to park. Even though it's one of the Mega's trucks I'll give him the benefit of the doubt on this one.
