Drove a truck last night around Dallas making drops for Target. Drove a reefer (sp?) truck for the first time. I am glad he is learning new things. Meanwhile, I beat the washing machine to death and got the spin cycle to work again. The life of a truckers wife! Lol

Its not surprising sitting in texas, its one of those hit or mis states florida the same. It will get better sometimes you are going to texas and you get a load out before you get there sometimes you have to sit and wait, then sometimes they just have short hauls around texas. Been with them over 3 yrs and I sit sometimes. It will get better, some drivers will tell you its because he with swift and all these other negativity, do what right for you and the fam . I talk to drivers at truck stops all the time that tell me to leave swift but I'm making more than they are.

"The life of a truckers wife" my wife make that comment everyday lol.

Ask him to try and get on a dedicated account, he will get a lot less dead spots (no freight moving) a lot of dedicated you go out loaded come back empty, don't have to wait on a load to comeback and you get paid both ways.

Otr is not always the best some cities nothing move at night some nothing moves on the weekend and you might just happen to end up there during that time

Washing machine fixed septic tank next. He is in Texas and has three stops. Leaves Texas tomorrow. If you are heading to Texas be careful. Huge storm has knocked out power at the truck stop he is at.

I think Dallas area. Be careful Inkeper. He said it was ugly. He sent a picture and it looked rough.
