I have a couple trailers that I don’t use regularly, I was approached by a guy asking to rent one. Worried I’d never see it again lol. GPS trackers? Anyone have any experience doing this ? Renting out trailers on a monthly basis?
What trailers? Usually there is an agreement to be drafted and signed with all the details who does what and on what terms. Is there a problem to do that? I'm renting, no issues.
Be careful. Loosing the trailer will be the least of your worries. You could easily be sued out of existence. Arkansas Carrier Forced to Close After Multimillion-Dollar Ruling
when you let lawyers write the bills, they always right them with loopholes so that their profession can still thrive.
I've been wanting to rent one for a while. But every where I call is out of stock. You might could get good money for it. Or you might get the axles twisted.
Could it really be that huge of a liability for the trailer owner if a signed agreement is in place with the owner and person or company that chooses to rent the trailer? Also most trailer rental contracts usually specify owner is not responsible.
