Hello, I currently getting ready to start Sage here in the next month. I'm just wanting to know what I'm looking forward to. I was told I could not do my dot physical or drug test at the local clinic (thru my dr I trust) and I had to go thru them. I am not one who goes to the Dr on a regular basis and dont really like people touching me so If I knew what to expect I can prepare myself. If any one has any info on their procedure I would appreciate it. Thank you
Sage is a great school. And they really won't be touching you for a dot physical. It's pretty basic. Blood pressure,weight, eyes, hearing. I think the only time the doc touched me was when she checked my knees. Whole thing took maybe 15 minutes.
Awesome! Thanks.. I've heard some stories and its probably friends just messing with me but you never know some times. I look forward to starting the class and getting out there. Also heard great things about Sage and thats why I will be attending
I went to sage in missoula...the trainers are really good.. they give you lots of 1-1 driving time and what they dont know about trucking, isnt worth knowing!
I went to Sage in Rocky Mount NC. Great school. I start orientation with Watkins Shepard this monday in Conover. You should take a look at them. They are also out of Missoula.
Must depend on the location I guess, when I talked to Sage out here in Denver they told me I could just go out and get a DOT physical myself
hehe well its a good thing I dont have a prostate! hehe dont assume all truckers are men my boys! And I do have a job lined up over in ND. Just wish I would have jumped on the ball a bit sooner b4 all this snow started flying. I appreciate all the info! Thanks again
