Satisfaction is.....

Sitting in my truck drinking a cold one with cold AC blowing on me after dealing with no AC for days (still hot here in the Southeast) and sweating out a blower motor replacement in a dark parking lot after finally getting by a dealer who had the part.

It's not as bad as rolling around in coolant replacing a busted hose on the shoulder but it's still a nice dose of satisfaction.......

Cheap, basic, drink em like water.

 

Been there done that lol. Spent most of my last 34 replacing 2 of my wheel seals and a dry rottrd coolant hose myself in a parking lot. Decided to treat myself afterwards.



And yes it somehow wasnt awful and actully pretty good.

 

Like PBR but isn't that " open container?" I don't care (n).

 

Depends on if your on private property or not i think. Most likely yes though. That that even if not i defo wouldnt have it in the truck when you go to drive, even an empty or unopened can. And i wouldnt be caught dead in the driver seat or even getting in or out that side just from parinoia.

That said, sometimes you have a #### week, do a ton of ####ty work and having a single beer with a movie or game or somesuch to destress is going to make you much safer then going back to work still stressed and pissed lol. Just as long as you blow a 0,0 getting into the seat.

 

And established owner operator is satisfied staying for days in a truck with no A/C, drinking cheap beer. Then he makes the necessary repair by himself in a dark parking lot. That's what success means I guess...

 

Don’t knock it til you’ve tried it. I don’t think I would ever go to driving for someone else again. I’d rather work on something in a dark parking lot than wait for hours or even days for a shop to get to it, and then pay out the nose besides.

 

And you'll stay for days in a hot truck with no A/C, correct?
