HI Anyone know how much schneider pays to student drivers? Also, what does the company charge for medical coverage to individuals. Most important!! Will some of you guys post your mileage for the last few weeks? I went to the schneider website and the cpm to student drivers isnt posted. Most be lower than average. thanks for your time Crunch
They dont take students. You have to have 1 year OTR experience, right now. They shut down all there schools.
when my brother went to their school it was .25 a mile, but you have to be a recent CDL grad to get on with no exp.. http://www.schneiderjobs.com/CompanyDrivers/TruckDrivingSchoolGraduates/index.htm
Thats not true they take Recent Grads but it all depends where you live you need to check their web site offen
SNI doesn't hire students. They might hire recent grads but all I've heard is that they want 1yr of experience. They might have lowered that a bit since the last time I heard it. Not sure. As far as pay, that depends on what region you are going to drive in, your experience, and what you will be doing (aka...over the road, dedicated, tanker....etc). Depending on your location, you might be able to get on a dedicated account that pays salary. The same is true for mileage. For example...I don't break 400 miles a day on my team run...but Im making about 40k a year.
I am no longer with schneider ..but when i started back on May of 2009..i was a recent grad and they started me off at 0.31 cent per mile.
Hehe I called this company today. Pressed the extention for recruiting. I asked the guy how much new graduates from school make, he hung up on me. I can see why this company has such a bad time retaining people.
I have been seeing a couple of different trucks in the SNI colors everything from a older model International cabover, a t-2000, and a Volvo or am I just seeing things
