I see flatbeds with emerald green IH tractors running up and down I-85 here in NC. I can make out the name SENN on the door, but haven't gotten close enough to one to read the rest. Did a search, found Senn Freight Lines, out of GA, but no info on them. Anybody familiar with them?
Their offices are at 801 Broad St., Augusta, Ga. I don't know if they have a terminal in Augusta but definitely not at that address. They do have a terminal on Hwy 121 in Newberry, SC. They are incorporated in SC.
They were out of Newberry South Carolina. I trip leased a load of air conditioners from them way back in 1980, They were the only outfit that ever inspected the truck and trailer I trip leased to, all the others charged us for an inspection but never saw the tractor or trailer. A lot of you may not know what a trip lease is. That is what we did before deregulation and the only brokers were produce brokers who for the most part were somewhat honest. These guys have been around a long time and keep a low profile.
