Are those the ugly green and yellow trucks? I'm a packer fan but those are butt ugly.

 

Yes that's them and they are the ugliest trucks out here I'd bet.

 

They advertise a 6.000 sign on bonus but who knows how it's paid out? 100 a month for 60 months maybe?

 

The money is not there. I use to drive for them. You will make .35 for all miles no matter how long you work there. No raises. Ever. They do pay insurance (last I knew anyway) but it was kinda crap. Trucks are old. I was in 5 different trucks in the year I was there due to brake downs. They are a penny pinching company. Disorganized. Overall not a horrible company but the small day to day things will drive you crazy.

 

Thats what i have been hearing like no vacation or holiday pay.I dont want to make another mistake like I did this time.

 

Yep no vacation no holiday. Their reason was "we pay the insurance so they equals your vacation time." But they don't lay you enough to actually take a day off so your stuck running non stop. I was home every weekend though.

 

Green and yellow, reminds me of Builders Transport. What ever happened to them? Bankrupt? Never heard of Sharkey.

 

That's what I've always heard too. Too bad but you can see some of those trailers are 20 years old and it's too sad.
