Silvercrest Express

Does anyone on here know of a company called silvercrest express? They are putting a terminal up here in PA and I never heard of them and have looked at various places on the web and nothing comes up. Any infor would be appreciated. I'm just wondering if they are worth looking into? Thank you

 

After 15 years otr, I've never heard of them, nor can I finde out anything about them. I tried to contact them via the email address given in the newspaper, several days ago.......No reply as of yet. This may be a new company. If that's the case, I'm going to give them time to mature before I inquire further.

 

Its versacold cold storage silvercrest does all of there trucking.the trucks say versacold on them not silvercrest,you know like leased drivers its pretty big in bath pa there looking for 250 drivers local and regional work.

 

Im driving 20 years and never heard of them till i went to the open house yesterday the place was packed at the best western in bethlehem 512 exit off rt22.

If you dont live far from bath i would check them out they pay by the mile.I didnt ask about benefits.The ad said they were competetive they like experience i know that I also can tell you its the food industry there always busy with nyc,philly,harrisburg ext...if you ever heard of trader joes versacold owns them.not sure about home time they have local and regional runs the farthest they will be going right now is north carolina up north i dont i would imagine mass.they also want owner operators.I think the place is opening 4/13 if you start fresh you never know maybe you can get what you want.dont forget the first drivers start the seniority list.keep in touch good luck.

DOT# 1858436, 100 drivers to date, looks like a refer company, looks like they have been in business for less that 18 months. Not much more information because of their length of service.
