I'm hearing an awful lot of people complain about the changes at Sirius-XM.. but the one thing I'm not hearing is this...

Upon hearing the merger was final.. did you e-mail or call Sirius/XM with your thoughts on what you'd like to see or not see happen?

    If you did.. great!
    If you didn't. Shut up.

"But..But.. Waaaah.. they didn't contact *ME* asking *ME* what *I* wanted!!"

    Here's a thought.. you're a paying subscriber.. why don't you contact them?

A week after the merger was announced that it was good to go, I had wrote an e-mail giving my suggestions, not only as a subscriber with 3 radios, but a stockholder. Even as a Sirius subscriber, I wanted some of XM's content, and wanted to see some of Sirius' content go.

Each time I contacted them with my thoughts and suggestions, I was rewarded with a personal reply (most times) back from someone there in NY.

I'm also reading a lot of people who just.... up and cancelled... their subscriptions. Usually it was over one or two channels. I can't speak for those of you with XM, so I'm not 100% sure the changes that were on your end, but I know for the channels I listen to, the only mere difference that I've seen is name and number changes.

Even when I thought I lost a certain favorite channel, after some research from Sirius' website, I was able to find what I was looking for.. I almost went ApeSh- when I thought the AC/DC channel was removed. Thankfully, I did my research. Have you?

That's all I have to say.

    Flame on!

They took Buzzsaw off??? And replaced it with AC/DC...:biggrin_25510:. Come on do we really need 24hrs of them.....No! They also changed the 80's and 70's and I just can't stand XM's 70's and 80's.

I know if it don't change back and I keep running local I'm gonna cancel my Sirius!

If I wanted XM I wouldn't have canceled it years ago!

XM's 70's the dj's like to talk during the songs beginning or ending. It annoys me. I am paying to listen to the music and no commercials. I really do not like the talking.

I have not yet tried the Sirius. Have not put the xm in this truck yet.

Nice poll options, how about an "I was unaware we could make suggestions" option, or even a "I made no suggestions and am content with the service" option? If you are going to take the time to put a poll together, at least provide options that cover all the bases rather than trying to pigeon hole everyone into your molds. Obviously I didn't know there was some kind of open suggestion period, but it doesn't matter much to me anyhow, I'm pretty satisfied with what they have done so far with just a couple exceptions. I would have like to vote in the poll because I like polls, but this one is childish. I've got XM, had Sirius until they failed to renew their contract with CSPAN. I liked both and for the most part am happy with the changes they made because for the most part they don't really affect me.

I myself have no complaints about the service, the channels I listen too only changed #s.

But its like the ppl who complain about who is in public office, and they never voted. If you dont vote you have no right to complain. Notice I said "RIGHT". Now if you voted go ahead and bi*$h all day.

Why does everyone feel that they're to be asked to give their suggestions?

I have yet to have someone in gov'ment office call me asking my opinion on an issue short of a ballot. I just assume submit it, reguardless if they did seek my opinion or not.
