    Hi all.

So I got my medical card about two months ago for two years.

my new company made me do another one along with a drug test today. They said I needed to do a sleep test because of sleep apnea….. which is weird because I’ve never had that brought up to me. I’m overweight but not super out of shape overweight. I try to exercise daily and eat pretty good.

The doc said I had 3 months to do it… my question is do I have to do it even tho I already have a valid card?? I’m very confused

I’d rather not do it because I sleep just fine on my own and coudlnt imagine even trying to sleep with one of those cpap things on

I have sleep apneia with a CPAP and it was the best thing, short of accepting Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior and marrying my wife, that could have ever happened to me. I thougt I slept fine too. I sleep so much better and a lot more alert and awake. It has been such a vast improvement.

The thing is I literally have no issues with sleeping. He described the symptoms to me and I’ve never had any of that before

Yeah, I said the same thing about myself. I didn't have any symptoms. I don't think you have much choice but to take it. They have a database now that doctors enter your physical in that all other docs have access to to keep drivers from doctor shopping.

    Rideandrepair Thanks this.

    large neck size..???

    that's 1 indicator.....

and yes, your company can make you get a DOT physical 7 days a week, and 3 times on a sunday, especially if they are paying for it.

Think mine was 17 or 17.5…. But my point was I already had one…. Like which one is the “legal” one… idk how to phrase that but
