Reefer drivers I'm familiar with, including myself, take liquid Nyquil.
Most reefer drivers have such erratic sleep schedules they usually need something.

Your a Ravens fan. You already are asleep!
All kidding aside. You will sleep probably soon. The human body has a way with getting enough sleep. So be careful out there while it is adjusting.

Look on store shelves for a sleep aid called
    Doxylamine Succinate
it can be hard to find but for me, works much better than diphenhydramine and doesn't leave you feeling weird or temporarily wired.

That, along with a bit of melatonin a half hour before bed and I sleep good for 8 hours and feel rested.

Black out curtains and a little fan on the nightstand help me sleep during the day. I'll usually use ear plugs too if the wife and baby are home. I don't need anything to help fall asleep- I'm usually exhausted by the time I get to bed. Go Ravens! I'm from Baltimore as well.

I downloaded Librivox on my phone. It has audio books. I listen to some book about a cat or something. It knocks me out, I don't make it to the third chapter.

Take these two. You will fall to sleep quickly, and wake up ok, even if you can only sleep 5 or 6 hours. I guarantee they work great.
