Just bare in mind you’re at the bottom of the totem pole, don’t roll over though lol at least you won’t be getting sweaty as hell like I did wearing long sleeves with denim overalls
Out of all the trucks I’ve driven this is my least favorite so far, not because it’s a bare bones truck with no APU nor inverter, its overall performance just isn’t as good as the others; it’s a lot better than dealing with that trainer I had though and the guy who quit/left the truck left me some cool sheet like cat food for when I get desperate haha jk
@farmerjohn64 this is the thing I'm most concerned about... I'm kind of worried to say who my trainer is when I get one because I don't want people texting/calling them to check up on me. The same reason I don't really want a youtube trainer. I like to keep to myself and not make a big deal about stuff. If I get one of the trainer's you and your wife know, i'm worried that you or she or anyone from this site would be texting/calling them to check up on me and how i'm doing. I'm not sure what to do about that, I mean I want a good trainer, I just don't want my training publicized or I don't want people checking up on me during the training. Is this a rational fear to have?
Stay off social media sites. People that have accounts on sites such as Facebook, Twitter, and on and on, want the attention in many cases. If you don't want a wannabe YouTube star trainer, request one that isn't involved in that. You have that power, so use it.
I'm more worried about people from here texting/calling the trainer and checking on me if I say who my trainer is when i'm assigned one.
Don't post who your trainer is and don't post truck numbers. All that is a distraction and doesn't contribute anything positive to you becoming a successful trucker.
Jesus, I’ve got a wife and I don’t even remember the wedding! Gotta lay off the Budweiser haha nah I’m 21 and single, you’re thinking of @G13Tomcat; personally I would advise not giving any personal information on here or anywhere else and yeah that’s fairly rational; @Chinatown is right
