Thats what 95% of us were doing as kids before the cdl requirement. We started young on farms and ranches it was in our blood all ready. We rode in trucks as newborns riding shotgun in our mothers or grandmothers arms sitting in the swamper seat. Operating trucks and machinery as soon as we were big enough to reach peddles. Made for the best operators. Now thanks to the new laws that kid will have to pay big money or sign on with a mega to get his license and deal with being shown how to do it all wrong when before he could simply just smoothly drive that truck in to a testing facility and get his license with his dad by his side. Dang shame!
