Have you ever heard the phrase "Organizational Culture?" Corporate norms are created at the very top. What is acceptable and unacceptable. Of course, they fired the "employees" who were involved. Those employees meant as much to them as did the dead driver. In order to save their reputation, they fired the insignificant pricks. However, that should have never happened because there should have been a policy established to prevent it from happening. And if the company had an open door policy, the family could have voiced their concerns and somebody should have listened. Just bc they fired the responsible parties doesn't change the organizational culture.
