Hey!!! Be good! Just because some recruiter told you a lie (which ones do not!?) doesn't mean that you can screw with other drivers!
Making threats/sabotage like that isn't gonna fly on this forum. Please refrain from posting things like that. I would also highly recommend you read this: WARNING YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR POSTS UNDER LAW
If you're gonna run around making "promises" like that, perhaps Stevens has made a very wise choice in not hiring you. I am sure they don't need people working for them that will be so quick to threaten things like sabotage. Recruiter lying is not a new thing in this industry, why not just shrug it off and try getting hired on with someone else.
This is a good question. A better question is what did they find that YOU didn't inform them of? Now I'll admit that I'm not at all fond of Stevens, but they are a decent company to start out with if you need schooling, or training. But they do NOT screw around when it comes to hiring. If you ain't honest and up front, you ain't getting in. You'll find this to be true of pretty much every reputable and semi-reputable company out there. I've got some bad news in my background that is holding me back, but I'm being honest about everything when I talk to the recruiter and have been getting positive results, just not hired. But if I can find somebody to take me for a few months, I've got job offers out the wazoo! Unfortunately, if the company I'm currently talking to hires me, I ain't moving to another one. What can I say, I hate filling out applications. And the company I'm talking to, and is showing high levels of interest, is extremely good and reputable. I'll post the name after I get the job, since I'm afraid of jinxing myself.
