Don't worry, more than likely you will get many more than that. My student already had at least 25 before his mid-term. Mandatory 20 before mid term.

i never had a problem when i wanted to get home. if you wanted a certain date for sure, put in few days before. but its trucking, so nothing is guarenteed. make sure you bug your dm week before to start getting you in the right direction

    No .
Proof you say , well here's my most recent go around , keeping in mind I normally stay out 3 to 3 and a half weeks.
Swift wants you to be out 12 days minimum and give 5 days notice.
I went out the morning of the 2nd.
Put in on the morning of the 9th for the 15th.
    Rejected.
    Now where I come from 2 + 12 = 14 and 9 + 5 = 14 so the 15th was 1 more day
    than needed .
When I pointed this out and asked what the problem was the answer I got was
( are you ready for this ?) " you can put in for the 16th " .

Well no sh* t Sherlock now hows about answering my question ?

As it turned out because the azzholes in the planning dept. once again couldn't do their job
it was the 23rd before I got home.

Bottom line - the people behind the desks go home EVERY NIGHT and could care less
if you are missing weddings , Dr.s appt.s , kids birthdays etc. etc.
    Think I'm kidding ?
Just hang out at any terminal for a couple of hours and ask a few drivers when was the last time
they got home within 24 hr.s of when they wanted to.
