Yup, CF was a lockout. I was riding motorcycles with the shop super when he got a call. The message on his phone said, "Don't show up for work tomorrow. Don't come and clean out your desk or pick up your tools. We will call you in the future when you can come in and clean out your desk, but don't come before." End of message.

Thousands of non-union trucking shops have closed up or gotten sold off in the past 30 years but no one remembers them because no one would want to work there.

What I think is that every trucking company hauls for dollar tree. every trucking company has dedicated positions for dollar tree. Every driver that talk to that has done dollar tree say never again.11 western sounds better to me. imo

From what I understand, you would be "fingerprinting" and "handling" every piece of freight going off of the truck and onto their loading docks. After awhile, you would become stronger, slimmer and trimmer. It would be quite a physical workout.

    Good luck to you!
God bless you and your family! God bless the U.S.A.!

That is the best reason I have ever heard to join swift.
I think I will call them in the morning.

I will consider to join swift. I think .36 is not bad to start as a rookie .. I was considering KKW in Pomona ca but they start you off at .32..
