I would like to hear personal experiences. With any engine? I've seen a you tube video from jpaydirt, with his acert c15 it was a big improvement over the compound turbos.

You're asking too broad of a question. Your example of the youtube guy converted his C15 from compounds to a single turbo, which is a very popular thing for those engines from what Ive read. But simply changing a turbo doesnt really require a change in tuning. Im also assuming you're talking about going to a better/upgraded turbocharger for more performance, which doesnt always happen just because its a better turbo.

Personally I would like to know if any one has tried a switchblade on a series 60 in place of the 171702 bw. I don't rely care about performance power. Can't get much power out of a 11.1 detroit.

I had tagged @SmokinCAT but, then I realized it was a Detroit. Also I have never heard of a switchblade turbo. I just know from what I have read here through out the years that the 171702 is what works best for these engines with a tune, and it being a smaller liter engine, I don’t know if it would work, but again, I’m a Cat man myself and have upgraded my turbo with BW what they call a stage 1 with a 550 BS tune and has work flawless and averaging 7.0.
