Is anyone other then me having an issue with the closet door behind the drivers seat handle breaking off? I have a 14 680 and the closet door wouldn't open one day and I pulled on the handle a bit harder and the thing broke off. Now I have to bungee it closed. They want $900.00 for the #### door and if you can find not in a salvage truck they want $300.00 for it. I have heard many people have this issue If that's so I think Kenworth needs to step up and issue a recall.
Same exact thing happened to me. I just held it closed with the bungee cord, never bothered to have it fixed. Should be a warranty item.
Same thing happened here and used the same bungee cord! LOL! Part was covered under warranty for mine. It's that crappy pot metal that they used for this handle. Why they didn't make it the same style as all the other drawers and doors is beyond me.
