I use a tablet mounted sideways for my gps, useing co pilot for trucks currently. Your app is not optimized well for this situation, huge top and bottom bars and only little bit of screen for the map/navigation. Haven't used the app much but does it have to ability to select a specific road to avoid such as the PA turnpike, etc.

Bridgette HAMMER and Admin Thank this.

    I use Copilot.

To avoid a road just press on the road and an option will appear with “avoid this road” as a selection. You do this before starting the trip from the route planning map.

If you want to use a road that is not one part of the route that Copilot selects, press on your preferred road and use the “route though here option”.

Hi @StrokerTSi , thank you so much for bringing this to our attention. I know a lot of our other users also use tablets, so it is our goal to optimize the app for all users. I will go ahead and get this feedback to our development team to look into. HAMMER does offer the ability to avoid specific routing. Tap on Menu (3 lines) > Tap on Settings > Tap on Routing. From here you can enable what you would like to avoid in your routing. Please let me know if you have any additional questions or suggestions. We are here to help :)

I know the sideways/landscape mode was a feature that was requested by a number of users recently. I’m glad to say we have that fixed for the next release in March.
