Ok, everything is all done for my authority and I am ready to head out working off load boards except I don't have the plate yet. UCR, elog, insurance, ifta, drug consortium, etc, etc, etc. Went through apportioned registration 2 weeks ago and the title place says the state is a month behind in issuing registrations so I might not get the plate until close to May. wtf. However I do have a temporary apportioned registration for up to 80k in every state and it's valid until May 2nd. I imagine I will have the occasional scale wanting me to come in and show them my temp registration etc due to lack of a plate, and I know some shippers want tractor license plate numbers which I wont be able to provide. But, any serious issues I can expect even if everything else is legal and correct?
Yep, dry van. Progressive, $20k for 1mil liability Under/un insured motorist coverage for 750k Cab only, didn't insure the trailer since I bought it used for under 2500 and I'll just buy a new one if something catastrophic happens.
