Ok, everything is all done for my authority and I am ready to head out working off load boards except I don't have the plate yet. UCR, elog, insurance, ifta, drug consortium, etc, etc, etc. Went through apportioned registration 2 weeks ago and the title place says the state is a month behind in issuing registrations so I might not get the plate until close to May. wtf.

However I do have a temporary apportioned registration for up to 80k in every state and it's valid until May 2nd. I imagine I will have the occasional scale wanting me to come in and show them my temp registration etc due to lack of a plate, and I know some shippers want tractor license plate numbers which I wont be able to provide.

But, any serious issues I can expect even if everything else is legal and correct?

Temps are used all the time.

I've even used one for 45 days hauling overweight. No idea why though.

    Yep, dry van.
    Progressive, $20k for 1mil liability
Under/un insured motorist coverage for 750k
Cab only, didn't insure the trailer since I bought it used for under 2500 and I'll just buy a new one if something catastrophic happens.
