Not exactly a new driver but definitely still learning. But theres this one place i go to weekly. And its always filled with cars. And i always find it hard to make this turn without having to push (joking) cars out of the way. Definitely the worst ive ever struggled. Been yelled at. Guns flashed. Just for trying to make this turn. And its like even 2 years ago i dont remember people being so sensitive about trucks. So is it the turn? Me? Or just people.
Let me guess ... cars in the left hand turn, that you’re turning into, are pulling all the way up to the cross walk.
Pretty much its the only real place ive had trouble with and for context its in Richmond va usually 6pm.
Yep ... end of rush hour when people act like idiots. I was swinging wide on a right turn and some girl was trying to squeeze in between my trailer and the curb. Pulled the plug walked out explained off tracking to her and if she didn't want her car crushed, she better stay right where she was.
I’m from Jersey and run mainly here and NYC. I do a lot of tight roads and no thru truck roads. You do what you gotta do driver all that matters is you don’t hit anything or anyone. D-head 4wheelers can huff and puff all they want they still need to get out the way or we can stay parked here until they work the nerve to get out. Any of them flash their guns for petty stuff like that needs to have an appointment with Johnny law to remind them to settle down.
Yep same here, no NYC but all north jersey. Plenty of times I've been up the wrong end of a 1 way, like here but they deal with it daily OP, #### em, do what you have to w/o trading paint with anything. Ignore the "I got fired for curbing it" thread. Just not possible in some spots
