I have pre-hire from TMC. I live in Columbus, Ohio and they don't have a terminal close. Where can you park it if parking at home is not an option? Have been told Lowe's, Home Depot or Menards. TMC told me they would help me find a spot. Just wanting to make sure this info is correct before I get everything ready and can't find a spot. THANKS!!
Go to your nearest Lowe's or Home Depot, ask to speak with store manager, ask for approval to park, if they ok, ask for it in writing. Thats what I did, it worked for 2 years.
Sure, just need approval from land owner, and TMC needs the location. I did have several high value loads, 1 I took home and parked # house, the other I stayed with truck, most times it's not an issue. The trucks have built in theft deterrent that must be used when left unattended. When I park my truck for the weekend I always check truck at least 1x per day.
TMC will assist you if you have trouble at any of those othere places your thinking of, so no worries
When I was with TMC if you lived in certain crime infested areas around the country they required fenced in secure parking. I parked at a Home Depot only to have my tanks sucked dry of fuel twice. Then to find out the lot was actually owned by the township and they didn't allow overnight truck parking. (strange because there was always 3-4 trucks parked there) Be wary of your tanks if you have to park away from your truck, with fuel prices shooting way up again more and more will try to rip you off. And no TMC doesn't use lockable fuel caps. Not sure if they would allow the use of them but don't see why not.
