Don't. Quit is best. When you have to start tarping regularly and quickly in a mill that doesn't want you holding them up, you'll thank me. Best thing I ever did. I quit 4 years before I came out OTR, and it was a good thing, too.
Do it for your kids. They'll be proud of you...and maybe you'll live long enough to see your grand kids.
thats the goal haha. quite honestly the smell of them as i walk past others smoking at the teuck stops is pretty sickening.
we are heading to El Paso today with a load of wire mesh for a Monday dropoff. any stops recommend on the way from Houston to do a 34 at?
my trainer decided where we are gonna stop i guess lol. loaded with wire mesh. heading out as soon as he gets back from the shipping office
If you must, they sell nicotine pouches that contain nothing else. Will help with nicotine craving without tobacco and all the harmful chemicals.
it's not the nicotine so muchnas still the physical action and stress relief it brings. its gonna be carrot stick cigs or similar haha. ive completed about a year of chantex and have not smoked in a while. at home i always sucked on a straw or something similar. id hoped i had gotten to the point where i can put the straw down lol but i guess i might get back on the wagon for that lol. fortunately im not terribly worried about it and will keep disciplined about it because my kids wont want to come with me if the truck stinks like a ash tray. thanks to everyone for the immense support about not smoking.
Unfortunately, statistics show that cold turkey is about the only real long term solution to stop smoking. I tried all that and it took praying to God, short of a heart attack or stroke, please help me quit. I was physiologically addicted. Mind and body. The day I quit, my blood pressure was close to stroke numbers. It seems, God answered my prayer, by giving me a choice. Live or die.
