TMC and any other company is going to have it's setbacks. Percentage is the best way to go on a regional outfit like TMC. If you're not making money, they're not making money. Texas rates are not ideal and this goes for all of the flatbeders who have to deal with Texas rates. And if you're in KS or MO, you're doing a lot of Texas hauling.

But I don't know anywhere where it "pays" to be home. Especially in obamaville in the winter months pulling a non-specialized flatbed. But you're welcome to your opinion.

If my pregnant wife lost our baby, I'd be on the 1st flight home. Truck, load, and company be ######. Some things are more important than others. Glad you found a new job and good luck to you both.

    Good deal...
You just keep plowing the field, there son,
May the good lord bless you and the misses.... You're gonna need a local gig sooner or later
OTR is NOT a job for raising a family on, that's for sure

Is there any company that holds true to the 'propaganda' they entice people with? I'm in a smaller company and hope to break into better money eventually but it seems the large companies, whom one would think pay better, are just flat messing over drivers.

    roadmap65 and Toomanybikes Thank this.
