I was at a truck stop last week and heard a terrible sound. It was the mudd flaps of a TMC trailer dragging the lot. I think he circled the lot a half dozen times. That chrome strip on the flap was making a heck of a racket. I was walking by the scale as he pulled up. I told him his flaps were dragging, he said yeah I think I am over weight.
This is kinda like welding, you move out of the way, not the welder or the winch bar user. Those things can be dangerous, as if I have to tell you!
I know what you mean. I have been using my winch bar on snap binders, other drivers see me and don't move until them it might not be safe to be standing where they are. Others see a winch bar and are running away. Knock on wood, I haven't had an incident yet.
that was the only close call i ever had with the winch bar and i always told everyone around to look out
