As the TMC website states, There is no home time gaurantee during training, but they do try to pair you up with a trainer as close to you as possible. Weekend hometime will depend on load availibility (to get you home)and preference of your trainer. Most drivers I've met say they do get home most every weekend. I have also seen them ask drivers to switch loads with another driver to enable them to get home.
Well disappointed Tmc turned me down, really wanted to work with them. they didnt say why but probably failure to pay suspensions in 2007. So im interviewing with Gypsum Express tomorrow and applied with pgt. Any advice on companys thatll take new graduates????
You may want to look at Maverick, or Melton. Both are flatbed outfits. Both probably still "take new graduates".
Does TMC offer CDL training? Their website was a bit confusing as to wether they reimburse for schooling or if they offer the training.
I emailed TMC regarding schooling, and they replied that they do not offer CDL training. They will however reimburse students up to $6,000. Of course they will reimburse you monthly instead of giving you the entire amount up front....
