Thanks for the info, TMC looks like a great company to work for. Nice equipment and professional drivers. I have my CDL and and am looking forward to getting back into the industry once I retire from the military. Will they hire retired military with some experience in trucking? I have driven flatbed for the AF for a few years.

You will have to have recent exp outside of the military. I was in the Marine corp and had my CDL but I still had to take a refresher course. I took troops to truckers out in 29 palms CA. Look into a course that the military offers

I am thinking about going with tmc i have a few questions that maybe some of the tmc drivers could answer i would sure appreciate it.
do they have pike passes for toll can you idle while your on your ten hours off or do they have apu's on the trucks i heard they want no idle time what so ever is that true?
do you often unload and dead head back? do they pay if you are dead?

They have ipass, which works also on ezpass and i zoom, if its cold, idle to stay warm, theyre not gonna make you freeze, but idling also kills your mileage. Dedicated accounts deadhead a bit more, line haul they try and find loads close to where u unload. If you go mileage you get payed for all empty miles, percentage you get 20cpm if your bounce is over 150 miles. When i was on line haul i went %, being in the northeast loads pay a bit better there.
