Good news is they are a strong meat hauler in a nation that likes it beef. Bad news is they are a strong meat hauler that may be about 20% too big for their own share of the pie where freight is finite. On average, some drivers will do good, some not so good. I suspect politics is a big part of it from what I've gathered in the recent past. It's feast or famine. That said, with APU, and and a more reliable refrigerated freight base, they are probably as good as any place to start. Just don't screw up, and be productive in the first 4 months and you may earn a gold star next to your name meaning your miles for the next month will be there.

Whatever you do, don't let them talk you into a lease or rental program until you've been there a year or more. Tell them your family's attorney (who is nationally respected) does not recommend you sign with their lease program and maybe they will not harass you incessantly to go with a lease because "that's where the consistent money is" LOL
