I work for Trimac. We are a bulk company. Big...for a bulk company, which means small to most big van companies.

500-600 is trash. I am making over $800 just on workers comp right now and was knocking over 1k a week on the road. Sounds like you can do a ton better.

You are not going to make 80k a year at Trimac unless you run the Elite Team like me and you don't qualify for that. Even then you need to run longer than 2 weeks to do it.

Thank you!! THIS is the kind of response I was looking for! As a newer company driver, all I am really looking for is somewhere that I can ride out the rest of my year because it is impossible where I am at. They are a decent starter company and that is fine.

Thank you so much for your response. I don't mind doing a bunch of repowers or small loads or empty trailer moves. As long as I can get miles and make enough to live off of I don't care how they help me do that. Again thank you for taking time out of your day to help me get an idea of what to expect. That "transAm still" thread the other gentleman was talking about did not pull up enough current information. I know they make 32 cpm now for example. I just was hoping I could get some good information from someone and you've helped me do that!

TransAm at least has top of the line equipment with all the driver ammenities.

Abilene Motor Express runs long runs coast to coast; dry van & reefer.
    Magnum Ltd.
    Freymiller
Danny Herman Trucking - long runs and no Northeast.

You're qualified for all these companies.

Yeah but I probably have nowhere near the experience you have. I'm not looking for a handout and I'm trying to be realistic. I just need somewhere to ride out my first year of experience. I know you need to at least get that before you can go anywhere that offers anything good. I just need another starter company that will afford me the opportunity to work and run miles, not have me sitting in an uncomfortable truck that I can't power a microwave in or anything else for that matter.

I am with Averitt right now and just finished my first year. When my shoulder is good I am gone. They will get you home every weekend but if you are willing to run you can make some money.
