I'm starting cdl school tomorrow and was planning on going to a flatbed company right after school. However I recently visited the Transland terminal in Strafford, MO and really felt at home there. Now I'm second guessing myself about the flatbed company.

I would really like to talk to anyone on here that drives for Transland.

    Thanks

Are they the ones with the bridge on the side of their trailer? If so, they're like every other company...they'll run you the first 6mos and then the miles drop off.
The only real bit of advice I can give someone just starting out is this; Don't believe a single word out of any recruiter's mouth. Go with your own best interesti in mind. If you had your heart set on flatbed, do that.

Years ago, there was a thread on here about Transland, the guy really liked them. Maybe do a search?

Transland used to run flatbeds as well as vans. Did they shutdown the flatbed division?
