What's the point of reverb on a CB transmission????
I guess I'll hook up a flanger and a octavizer and see how that works....:biggrin_25526:

i love my echo mic on my uniden 78 . its a 2018 xtreme . echo rules on cb on am . turn your echo all the way down . slowly turn up your talkback till you hear a squeal the turn it back just enough to make it stop . on your 2 echo controlls . think of the numbers on a analog watch . turn both up 1 hour at a time to where you hear a slight echo in your voice . ask for radio checks to help fine tune it . personally , i give more respect to comments from folks that have great sounding setups . not overmodulated to death and echo jacked sky high.........i dont want to sound like them .

Finally got the #### thing thanks guys. The reason i have echo is b/c my stock cobra 29 took a crap on me and i came across a good deal on a cobra with the echo and all the goodies in it so i just bought that an it sounds alot better than the stock one dont hear as much of my truck in it.

The best way to tune it is to find the button or switch that says off & use it. I've yet to understand why people want to distort their audio other then they think it sounds cool.

My favorite is the ones that take their radios to some CB hacknician & get all the screws in it tightened as tight as they'll go. Next they hook it up to a gazillion watt pump with a big ole monster modulator. After they spend their last penny on all of this junk they hook it all up & crank open the reverb & echo.

You'll know these drivers when you see & hear them. They're the ones going down the highway drafting bumper to bumper going "Huh? What'd ya' say? I can't understand ya."

some of us like a lil echo in our audio , i agree %100 about the idiots that crank everything too high or wide open and sound like CRAP . however some of us have both self controll and a brain and run our mics , radios and amps conservatively while still maximizing their clean output potiental .

on SSB echo is a definate no no .

to be honest I talk really quiet so i need a powerful cb just to be heard lol my stock cobra had the dynamike cranked all the way up and i could barely be heard and this one i dont have to do that. its a subtle echo though i dont like repeating myself like u stated.
