im a British truck driver living in Oshawa Ontario. I have my AZ licence a valid work permit a clean abstract a clean police record check and bondable. Looking for a company who is willing to give me a try and who knows how to work with Human Recourses and is familiar with hiring foreign workers. Willing to do any job except long haul. I have 18 years experience of England and Europe long haul,local multidrop and various trailers and units.
I'm not a union driver but it sounds like it may be a good fit for you. For local and regional driving, it's hard to beat them. Try asking your question in the union forum.

If you have a work permit and a clean abstract it would just be a matter of pounding the pavement looking for a company who will employ you. Challenger for sure employs foreigners (even imports them).
