Hey guys watsup...........I can't do the 3-4 week OTR anymore. Venezia offers 5 out 2 off $1000-$1200 per week. Can anyone verify this?

Yes thats accurate there might be a time where they ask you to stay out over the weekend but its rare and the money is correct you'll be around there possibly a little more on occasion.

Thanks for getting back to me. Makes my decision a bit easier. I came off the road last October to work local. The company "said many great things" which haven't come to fruition. Basically they put me in a straight truck where I have stayed for the last couple months. I just wanted to confirm what Venezia says. Thanks much.

Former venezia employee here. Ran cement, flatbeds, propane, blimps, oil, and chemicals for them. I miss the atmosphere, but the pay and benefits need some work. When you go out for a load from say Philadelphia to Pittsburgh for propane, you cannot go through the tunnels on the PA turnpike. I won't bother with the route details, but your alternate options add between 75 and 100 miles of road that is a lot more challenging during winter conditions. Now remember, they pay HHG miles. So there goes 10 percent of your actual miles, but the hazmat routing doesn't add miles. So now you are driving 100 more miles than the routing program pays you for, then they shave 10 precent off for the HHG method. They are nice people, but be warned of the payment methods.

I was offered a job with them hauling asphalt and propane so i take it there not making any money doing this i was under the impression they were making good money hauling propane, and the regional lube oil drivers were also. What kind of pay could i expect to gross a week doing it.
