Good luck to you. I opted to drive myself down there(Atlanta). I just have to show them my gas receipts when I get there.
I thought of doing that myself, but decided I didnt want to leave my vehicle there. Oh well, nothing like a fun Greyhound ride....
I was told by one of my instructors from school to "avoid the bus like the plague". So that's what I did. I'm hopeing I'll get a truck as soon as I complete my 300 hours, but I'm planning for the "just in case I don't" senerio. With my pick-up there, if I don't get a truck immediately I can drinve myself home instead of paying for a bus. Good luck to you dragonmatrix.
Another pic. Still very busy. http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff300/tom_stockham_e/Trucking/YellowTractor.jpg
I found out today that I am 22 weeks pregnant and my doctor does not want me driving. So I called my recruiter and we are putting my training off until September(after the baby is born and I'm recouperated). I can wait that long because my graduation date in good for 2 years. I'll be joining you boys(new trainees ) on the road then. Good luck to you all. Please keep the updates comming. Eyes Up, Hammer Down! Drive safe.
