Ok so after umm 5 years, 4 successful years leasing with Swift. My husband's lease is up. He's tired of OTR, super tired of Swift, but with the right money or signing bonus he might continue OTR, better yet a local job that gets him home at night or weekends, shuttle etc. that pays well? We are in the Phoenix, AZ metro area. Where should he apply? is there a top 3, 5 or 10 companies or places to apply to? Hey this isn't about bashing Swift he was new, he did his job, kept his record clean, paid his dues we are looking for whats next, and extra endorsements to add on to his CDL now.

Gonna put my 2 cents into the pot. DON'T chase sign on bonuses. A good company knows they are good. They don't have to dangle bait to get drivers in their trucks. They usually have a line at the door. Now, that said, not every company that doesn't offer a bonus is a good one.

    I don't know!
Shamrock Foods in Arizona sometimes hires for tanker work also.

Those milk haulers seem to get addicted to it; hitting the dairy farms and running the back roads.
Western Dairy Transport is a bigger outfit, but don't know if they hire in Phoenix.

Western Dairy Transport does hire in Phoenix.
Their website says they're having a Christmas party for the Phoenix drivers on the 16th.
