Why?

The test has been simulated on a ladder or a 2X4 built frame construct. There has not been an ICC bar available to grab.

 

ICC bar is lower bar ( or bumper ) on trailer. How tall is she?

 

Wellll telll her to telll them she wants to do the test on a real trailer

 

Are you gonnna name these company's cuz I'm calling bs I never heard of anybody doing this test

 

Swift in OKC had us do it a few years back. don't know if they still do, but it was not that hard. I watched a short girl do it no problem it was the weight carry that was the problem for most.

 

Here is a video of Schneider performing this test @ 2:24 in. IMO if you cant perform a simple physical test like this you shouldnt be allowed to get the job.

Perhaps this company will require the Dry Van drivers to sweep out their trailers without the aid of a broom? And unpaid, too! (As usual).

If the company wants her climb to get the job that's what you do, pretty soon people will sue because they can't pass the driving test. If you can't do lets sue.i like that. Wonder if I can sue to get a job as a pilot.

 

Me thinks there is another issue. A lot of megas are looking for any warm body.
