Because I like to keep the curtains open with all my cabs lights on and stand up topless scratching my hairy belly. What's it to you?

When did I make fun of any other drive? I was simply asking why a driver might do this? Guess I struck a nerve.

So just because I'm bobtail I'm lesser deserving of a spot than you?? I have to abide by the same regulations as you do and have the same problems with parking you do as most truck stops don't want me in the car area. So if you want the bobtails spot get to the parking lot before him. Your post makes you sound like the one that's lazy, rude, and downright ignorant. Of course your probably one of those mega carrier rookies that thinks the rest of the world owes him that parking space.

You should try lightening up a little... really.

When temperatures get above 30ºF I like to sleep without running the truck. If I have to take a 10 in a truck stop I'll park nose in IF I can find a spot in a corner with a straight back to avoid having trucks running next to my open vents. I get much better sleep that way. If there isn't an easy straight back out of a space I'll bite the bullet and back into a spot next to the "temperature and fresh air impaired".

Teddy bear? Heck, if my kids give me a teddy bear I'll proudly have it ride along. I took a "bivvy bear" with me on Mt McKinley and the north face of Mt. Rainier, a good luck charm gift from my niece. Must have worked. I lived.

That's why you flip it to constant at night when your parked. Turn it to start/stop when you get up. I pulled reefer for over 2 years. Miss my reefer.

cause some drivers will idle their trucks no matter what the weather is,i park nose first so i dont have to hear the reffer noise and the air dryer all night long.

It often does matter to me, because when drivers pull in head first as opposed to backing in, many times I will lose the reception to the TV show I was watching right before they pulled in, as the trailer blocks the TV signal. This has never happened when trucks back in, but when they pull in instead, the trailer often blocks the signal.

It takes a lot more skill to backup between two trailers than it takes to back out between two trailers. Just saying.

Plus backing out into a Parking lot is dangerous. I've seen lots of guys get hit that way.

There is ONLY 3 REASONS: 1.) Driver is pulling a reefer and courteous so parks between non-reefers nose in.
2.) Driver senses that circling to back in will leave no other spots.
    OR
    3.) Driver Is Lazy
