Please let me know where i can purchase Workers' Compensation Insurance at a fair price. I have one driver working with me. Thanks Chad
OCC/ACC is NOT Workers Comp. An employer can be liable if they present it as so. As Florida exempts entities with less than four employees from having it, I provided OCC/ACC, but not only described the coverage in orientation, but had the employee sign off that they knew they didn't have workers comp coverage, and were only covered by OCC/ACC. Every state is different and some require actual Workers Comp insurance for single employees. Some states offer Workers Comp coverage through the state even, so without knowing what state, simply saying go get a OCC/ACC policy is VERY BAD advice.
The OP was asking about workmans composition insurance and OODIAs page clearly states that it is NOT a workmans composition plan. If the OPs state requires workmans composition insurance the OOIDA plan will not meet the requirement.
ooidas insurance, is cheaper if the state your base out of ok's it, get it, i not her to argue just giving options, i know La. Texas, Mississippi, ETC ok's it,
Occ / Acc is workmans comp if your the owner and operator of the unit as it was described to me but not the same if you employ a driver then workmans comp is required
If it was WC, it would be called that. It is not. Even so, the OP stated he had a driver working for him, and you suggested OCC/ACC.
