i dropped my truck off at the detroit dealer today. my pregnant fiance drove me home in the car. i was not impressed with the tailgaiting trucks and the idiots coasting 80 to 90mph. i blame tracking and bs laws for these things driving a truck like its a nascar.
I have to agree Mikec265....When I see cars cut off rigs, 95% of the time I never see the rig even hit the brakes a little, to give some space. I don't get that....
Yes but to be clear .. we were in the car cruise set at 70 trying to keep a safe distance and the trucks were driving like they were on the nascar track. of course so were other cars too. the same idiot in a used schnieder truck cut us off several times.
Awhile back I was driving 55 mph in a 50 mph construction zone in the PA mountains in my car at around 1:00 am. This was a very long construction zone and we were down to one lane. The idiot driver in a semi behind me kept running up and Im not kidding when I say within a foot of my rear bumper trying to intimidate me into speeding up. Finally after a few miles of this I had enough and slowed down to a stop right in the middle of the road going up a hill where anybody behind him had plenty of notice we were stopped. The truck driver had quickly jumped out of his truck before I got out of the car and he was walking my way screaming while smacking his hand with a baton. I stood by my door and calmly let him know he wasnt gonna intimidate me with his stick or his truck and if he wanted to proceed he could push my car off the road right where it sat or we could continue with me driving it and him staying at least 20 behind me through the rest of the construction zone. This guy was absolutely raging now pounding his stick even harder and threatening me but again I calmly let him know that along with my being 6 4 with a frame the size of a lumberjack, I have also been involved in martial arts since I was five and I would be happy to shove his stick up his arse before I proceeded to severely disfigure his face. At this point he finally shut his mouth, walked back and got in his truck and we proceeded with him staying off my bumper. Mind you, not that he didnt try getting closer than 20 a few times, but I have a CB in my car and let him know he was about to have sex with his stick if he came any closer as rules are rules, 20 or sex with his stick and then he would wisely chose to go back to complying with the rule. Two things here if the driver in question reads this ... 1. You are a nutcase and a terrible driver that shouldnt be driving a truck 2. If we were in Florida where I live and you do this I will quickly put a bullet in your skull without saying a word as we have a law that says I can ... Happy Driving
This is the problem with the 60 mph rolling road blocks they drive to the governor no matter what the speed limit is I've seen it time and time again.
