Definitely the straw that would break the camels back for my stubborn self even. Park it at the terminal, clean it out and get going on whatever job offers I have buried ASAP. Old company would then be on the ignore/call block list.
I think your correct. Can you imagine how many drivers are looking for a better job now that works there? Probably were looking for a new job before that to be honest. Try and swing by the house if possible and unload first. Then give notice that this will be you last home time request. If you have another job lined up. This is a bad time to quit with who is in charge in DC. Really bad time to be without a job.
way over stepping their authority, You don't send a blanket threatening statement like that to all employees, I am sure there are good employees that work there who are just trying to work hard to make a living for their families and now they have to be threatened by their employer?? sounds like a business on its way out.
Their company, their trucks, their authority. If someone wants to put up with it, it’s their problem if they don’t like the rules. I said they could have done it better. Perhaps target the few that they didn’t like
